No matter how much darkness there is around you, you only have to turn on the light to be happy again
From the most complicated situations, amazing people have flourished. Oprah Winfrey, Manny Pacquiao, Michael Jordan and even Keanu Reeves himself have a pretty painful past. However, they are great examples that we all carry an inner light that cannot be turned off by anything or anyone.
Seek your own light in the midst of adversity
Life is full of bumps and difficult seasons, but it is just during these times that we need to find a light of our own to shine through. Many people live in the sunshine of their circumstances, that is, when this sun becomes dim because things are going wrong, so everything that makes up their identity becomes dim.
But he who carries his own light is prepared for moments of darkness. During the day, he takes advantage of natural light to guide him, but when night comes, he makes use of his own light so as not to get lost or distressed. That is the wisest way to live life, for no matter how dark our life becomes, the light shines in the darkness.
We cannot be people who are prone to sadness and depression, who in the face of every difficult situation collapse and give up everything. We must face every aspect of life with the mentality of a champion, be prepared for challenges and always shine with our own light without allowing any circumstance to overshadow us.
Many people, when they have problems, take refuge in someone else’s light. But if you are emotionally dependent on someone else when things go wrong, you will never have the maturity or strength to do things on your own. Optimism is such a personal asset that you can’t borrow it. Someone else can inject some of their optimism into you, but in the end, only you can get ahead and fix everything that’s troubling you.
Dress in the brightest light: optimism
Optimism consists of having a winning attitude in the face of the most complex circumstances. Unlike hope, optimism is completely related to action. The optimist does not expect things to turn out well but does everything in his power to make them so.
An optimistic person is the opposite of a defeatist; he is a fighter by nature who will not be defeated by adversity. Optimists can fight alone or with others, but they will always do their best to solve problems.
If you are going through a particularly complex moment, turn on the light inside you and let it show you the best optimism you don’t even know you have. The fight is not over and inside you have everything you need to win. Sleep well, eat well and take good care of your emotions, and as any mother can easily tell you: “you will see how everything works out”.
