Why does it cause us so much pain to lose our pet?
When we lose a pet we must learn to live without our greatest source of joy.
Many of us have had the great fortune and privilege of living with a pet. Having their presence in our lives is almost a cultural issue, we could even say it is a tradition. In most families there is an animal that is part of their story and that is by their side in good times and bad.
When we grow up with a pet or when we integrate it into our family as adults we discover a very strong and powerful connection, it may sound a little exaggerated, but the relationship with a pet in many cases becomes more important to us than some relationships with people in our lives.
When you adopt a puppy you start the best phase of your life.
Animals quickly and easily gain an important space in our hearts, they become our inseparable companions, for they have some qualities that are impossible to find in people.
They are extremely empathetic, caring and loyal. The love they feel for us is unconditional and many times even embarrasses us, because even after receiving a blow, they are still by our side, ready to give us all the love in the world. Our pets are some of our truest friends; we build bonds of affection and adventure with them.
They are able to comfort us, love us without restrictions and accompany us in the most difficult moments. With animals every day is an opportunity to experience sincere love and kindness.
For those of us who have had a beloved pet, we know that the pet becomes an indispensable member of the family; they are pure beings without a hint of evil. Through this union, we discover the best of our personality and learn to live with much more joy, valuing the simplest things as the most important.
Life with our animals is simply much better, but unfortunately they often leave before we do. Their journey is shorter because they are much more evolved and do not need to live as much as we do. When they have fulfilled their purpose and left to live with all that they taught us during their physical stay.
Losing a beloved pet is one of the strongest mournings, it is an almost unbearable sadness. Sometimes we don’t know how to start over after such a terrible loss. When one of our animals dies a family member is gone forever and with him the greatest love in the world, the joy and fun of every day.
If you’re going through your pet’s grief, try to keep your head up and smile, because that’s probably how your best friend saw you. Don’t hesitate to share this reflection to help others.
