If you want to keep your life in order, tidy up your closet
The year is coming to an end, and if you’re not careful, the days go by and you don’t notice. That’s why we need to make the best use of time. So, if your plans include leading a more orderly life, you’d better start with your closet.
A tidy wardrobe is a more balanced life
I’m sure you’re like the vast majority who take the last days of the year to make promises for the next. These promises are usually something like: lose weight, eat better, change jobs, improve interpersonal relationships, increase your status, improve your income, get a promotion, reconcile with someone you love, in short. A number of promises are made, but when the year ends, we realize that very few things were achieved.
The mistake we make is that we take promises as if they were wishes, and we hope that during the year everything we put on that list will be fulfilled as if by magic. And that’s definitely not how it works.
If you look closely, all those promises we make follow almost the same order and it is “balance” that is almost the same as talking about “order“. When we lead an orderly life the vast majority of our things flow well. At work we do better, our diet becomes balanced and therefore we regulate our weight, we stress less and we make better use of money, which means more money, better quality of life and more fun.
But in the end, these things do not come alone, we are the ones who must enforce these promises, the universe, God or any other mystical force will do nothing for you, and if it did, it would be as a support and not to solve your things.
So, to organize your life you must first start with your surroundings. Look at how everything is around you, especially in your room. Are your socks and other underwear strewn around your room? Sort all that out. Order in your life starts with a clean and tidy bedroom.
And how’s your closet? Maybe you think it’s in order because you have all your clothes hanging out, but the way you hang your clothes up has a lot of influence. For example, it’s important that you follow a good order when you hang your clothes, pants on one side, winter clothes separated from summer clothes, strong colors on one side and pastel colors on the other. Again, it’s an example, you can follow your own order but a real one, not that kind of mess that many people for convenience claim that “it’s their order”.
Your wardrobe can definitely talk a lot about you, so we recommend that you check it out thoroughly and put a spin on everything. Organize every detail of your bedroom and you will surely start living a more balanced and orderly life.
