People who have low self-esteem are the ones who are most noticeable
Many times we confuse the desperate appeals of a person who cannot love himself enough with pride and excessive self-esteem.
The rule is proportionally inverse: the less someone wants, the more scandal he will try to make to get noticed.
So, loud music, overbearing treatment and a strident fashion style, are nothing but ways of saying “I’m here, and I need your love.”
Manifestations of a person with low self-esteem
Loud music: these people are the typical neighbours who turn the rock knob as far to the right as possible and those whose TV is on until the early hours of the morning, and not exactly at a friendly volume. Do they want to disturb you? Not really, but what they want is to draw attention to themselves to remind the world that they are there and that they need to be noticed. Our primary reaction is to go to them in anger and speak ill of them, but this will only make the confrontation more fierce than ever. On the other hand, if we try to invite them to have a coffee and talk for a while, little by little their behavior will not need to focus on getting attention.
Shouting: these people communicate by shouting, especially when they make their strange opinions known. They are convinced that no one will listen to them if they speak in a civilized manner. So they choose to raise the decibels in their voice as much as their speakers.
Preposterousness: they speak ill of the supermarket cashier, the building superintendent and the pizza delivery guy. They want to convince themselves that these people are less than them and that they deserve to be looked down upon. However, deep down these people know that we are all equal, but by believing themselves to be less than others, they tend to attack those groups they consider to be more vulnerable. In short, this can be explained by the fact that they are the most vulnerable, the people who do not love themselves.
Noisy movement: just as his existence inside is anything but discreet, his walk in the corridors and on the streets also leaves a soundtrack. If they have a vehicle, they tend to remove their muffler so that the whole city knows they are going somewhere. If they are walking or using public transport, they will make sure that their shoes leave their sound mark and have a heated conversation on their cell phone during the quieter moments on the bus or train.
Controversial opinions: their views go against the grain. They are drastic and show a vehemence that they do not really feel, but manufacture to make themselves noticed. They can be very surprising with their views on otherwise sensitive issues.
Shocking outfit: either because they are extremely sexy or simply border on the ridiculous, their clothes stand out. They are followed by makeup in the case of women and a hair style that would not appear in any fashionable magazine.
In short, people who do not love themselves, do everything possible for others to do it for them, the problem is that they err on the way and often generate in others as much hate as they feel for themselves.
