Laugh every day and you won’t have wasted a single moment of your life
He who laughs even in the face of adversity is a champion, he has understood what life is all about. In this world we are just passing through, there is not much time to cling to bitterness, sadness or worries.
It is natural for us to feel sad or angry in some situations, but Jesus teaches “do not let the sun go down on your anger,” meaning do not give in to anger for more than one day. And that’s great advice, because getting stuck in these emotions doesn’t bring any health benefits, quite the contrary.
Laughter, on the other hand, is synonymous with good health and happiness; the sound of laughter chases away sadness and repels anger. That’s why, no matter how bad your day goes, don’t waste the opportunity to laugh at some point.
We are responsible for our own happiness. So, if you have a lot of problems around you, induce laughter in your life, watch comedy movies, videos or stand up, anything that can draw a smile on your face. Be kind to yourself and always take care to get a good laugh every day, don’t make anyone else responsible for your happiness.
Laughing out loud brings many health benefits
According to Sigmund Freud, laughter releases all the negative charge in our body. That’s because after the cerebral cortex releases electrical impulses. Thus, we release endorphins, substances that possess morphine-like properties to relieve physical and emotional pain.
Laughter is located in the prefrontal cortex, where creativity, the ability to think about the near future, resides. Therefore, after we have laughed enough, we can see more clearly and sometimes even make better decisions.
- Laughter decreases insomnia.
- It prevents heart attacks because it strengthens the lungs and heart.
- It has a toning effect on wrinkles and skin in general.
- It releases endorphins, which have a powerful analgesic effect.
- It lowers blood pressure.
- It strengthens the immune system.
- A laugh makes the head vibrate and clears the nose and ears.
- By working the abdominal muscles, it facilitates the digestion process.
- Improves breathing.
But laughing is not only good for our body, but also for our soul, because happiness is not complete if it is not full of laughter. Therefore, share and share laughter and that way, the time you are on this plane will not be in vain, you will have learned everything from life, because our only purpose is to learn to be happy in the midst of adversity and in that process make others happy. So you know, prioritize your laughter above any state of bitterness.
