Learn how reciprocity works: the perfect balance between giving and receiving
Keep this in mind: anything that is not reciprocal in your life is totally dispensable.
As the years go by and we become more mature we begin to understand that it is not excess that makes something work, on the contrary, all excess generates lack of something. We must focus on balancing what we give with what we receive to avoid any kind of lack that can make us unhappy.
How many times have we developed repetitive attitudes towards certain people, without receiving the minimum in return? Believe me, I know the value of generosity, I agree that we should give the best of ourselves in any situation, without expecting anything from the other. But we certainly act this way because we believe that by giving our best, the other person will recognize it and also do his or her best. We expect reciprocity with attitudes of the same or even higher value.
Reciprocity is a life choice
Reciprocity is a choice you can and should make, choosing always to be nice to people, wishing them a “good day”, without waiting for an answer. Sometimes the most pertinent thing is to be polite and cordial in difficult situations.
To reciprocate with others is a virtue that we must cultivate and never give up, regardless of how others act, we must try to be better and be proud of it.
However, what we must not do, under any circumstances, is to give priority to those who have never given you priority, asking for affection and idealizing the crumbs. Your time is precious and irreplaceable, you will never have the opportunity to live the same day twice. Have you thought about it?
Only spend time with people who make you feel important and loved, share with people who don’t bring you complications. Look for those who define themselves by simplicity, who are not driven by ego, who try to impress with their possessions or who lack character.
We show you an example of how to see reciprocity. When a person invests in a company, he expects to receive a profit, but when he recovers less than he invested, will he be interested in continuing to bet on that company? Probably not. You can apply this reasoning to any area of your life, whether it be love relationships, friendships, and, of course, business. That’s what reciprocity is all about.
Be aware and honest with yourself, because the rule is clear: anything that is not reciprocal in your life is totally dispensable. It is better to make room for the good things and stay away from what does not benefit us. Being generous is important, but so is loving ourselves and recognizing our value, only in this way can we recognize and be grateful for the value other people have.
Connect with beings who are in your same vibration and understand the importance of reciprocity: giving and receiving in the right measure. So take this reflection and apply it in your daily life.
