Doing wrong is a choice and, at the right time, life takes its toll
For all those who take the path of evil, the law of men may not judge them rightly, but there are higher punishments that will follow them to the end of their days.
He who does good is often burdened by the knowledge that the wicked prosper, go unpunished, and run the world as they please with deceit, lies, and malice. They trample on the most righteous, cast their guilt on the innocent, and take delight in doing wrong. It is truly disheartening to know that, while we strive to do good, others are prospering in their evil ways.
If you think this way, don’t be discouraged, because doing evil is as complex a decision as doing good. And those riches and that joy that you once had in the hands of these people are fleeting. Sometimes the judgments that come from above walk slowly, but they are infallible.
People who do not think twice about taking advantage of another have a dry and corrupted soul. No matter how much they defend themselves with their words and justifications, their actions define them, if they do not love their neighbor, they certainly do not love themselves.
On the other hand, those who decide to follow the right path make the right decisions even in the most difficult times. They are capable of sacrificing themselves for what they believe is right. In the near future they may receive problems and affliction, but they are sowing the good and later they will reap the abundance, peace, patience and the juiciest blessings.
So stop looking at the bad guy who thrives on his bad way, and start looking at the good guy who is an example of dignity and benevolence. Because we do not do good to receive something in return, but it is not a genuine good. Rather, we do good so that our heart might flourish, to give a little of what we have received within it.
This world is full of malicious, envious people who like to make a fuss and are willing to betray for their own benefit. But let us not look at these bad examples, but at those who are examples of sanity, humility, simplicity, kindness and respect.
He who does evil condemns himself, because he makes a decision that is death. Death pursues those who are determined by evil, and we do not speak of the death of the body, but that of the soul which is absolute and determining.
Therefore, we have nothing to envy to those who do evil. Rather, they are a mirror that reveals what should not be done, the path that we should never walk. You, on your side, trust and rectify your steps, you will have more excellent things in the future.
