To make decisions in difficult times, you have to be mentally strong
Nobody seems to like making decisions. The fact that we are confronted or required to choose between options represents a fear of being wrong. That’s why simple questions like “What do you want to eat, chicken or beef? A person may hesitate and delay minutes before making a decision, if at all, many times not even deciding but bouncing the question and letting the other person decide. This is common, but it doesn’t make it right. Making decisions builds character, but those who risk making bolder decisions become much stronger.
In hard times the only thing that will strengthen you will be the bold decisions you make
We all find it difficult to make decisions, that is true, however, it is not something we pay much attention to since most decisions involve banal or superfluous actions. In these cases, we very easily let others choose for us or if we choose, we do so without paying much attention to the consequences because we understand that the risks were not very high. But what happens when the risks are high? What happens when the decisions we make affect us directly or strongly affect those around us?
When we find ourselves in really pressing situations, it often happens that life forces us to make certain decisions that affect us strongly. But since we always want to avoid dealing with the responsibilities of our actions, we often prefer to let the opportunity pass, or walk away from that moment that often tries to put us between a rock and a hard place.
However, one of the things that mainly helps us to define our character is courage. We all know that life is not a bed of roses and that in adversity one grows, but how can we grow if we do not want to risk going through adversity? If you want to succeed in life, the first thing you have to do is get out of your comfort zone, not hide behind anyone, not avoid the barriers that life puts in your way.
Without a doubt, we all prefer to live the same way as we have always done, a way where we have everything secured and where things seem to be going well. We even follow the saying that “better bad known than good to know” but that only indicates the deep fear we have of making decisions.
Right now the world has changed and it has stood before you to make bold decisions that will take you from one point to another dramatically. What will you do? Will you let this opportunity pass you by? One can recognize a person by the way they behave in tribulations. It is very simple and easy to smile when life smiles at you but it is difficult to do so when life wrinkles your face. Lift up and make a bold decision and hope for the best by preparing for the worst, you will see how you get stronger in that walk.
